Got the LATimes crossword once again. The theme was easy to figure out, but I slogged the rest of my way on and off to completion.
I went to a different grocery store to get some items that Peter likes. I got hot pickled cauliflower mix and a few things comme sa. I often buy artisan bread for him-kalmata olive and then whole grains and nut bread more regularly. I have been making fresh turkey sandwiches lately for his lunches, a little (recycled) plastic container of mixed nuts, one with the cauliflower mix and hot peppers. Against my health aesthetics, I put a (recycled) baggie of saltine crackers, an apple (in which I use a core remover, leaving a hole throuh the center.) Some times, turkey jerkey. Right now, I have a dehydrator going making turkey jerky right here at home. I also made some chocolate chip cookies for Calder and Peter. They watched a movie. This guy, Larry Bishop wrote, directed, acted in this movie. Calder mentioned that Larry Bishop was in a movie he was PA on and after later when they had a first showing, Larry Bishop was there. Afterward, there was a celebration with an open bar and Calder had a beer with him. Peter asked what brand Larry was drinking, Calder said it was a good beer, though something light. I was asking C. what he said to Larry, something like, "nice performance?" Blah, blah, we were laughing like crazy. It's lots of fun having Calder home. Annie was like a proud mama, she brought Carlos to his first vet appointment, today. So that is the fodder comprising 'Holbrook Chronicles' for today. Physical Therapy, too, for me. A friend from Chicago is in town with her kids and they dropped by the other day. Now, we keep missing each other. She went to west Phoenix to see a couple acres she had inherited and in the process got hopelessly lost...that's Sheri, I called to see where she was then she called at ten tonight and asked if it was too late to come over.
I am happy to say the swab test has beeen done by the person I have been corresponding with and I look forward to the result. I can set it to rest...I can rest after that. Of course, unless it is not a match, then I will be like Don Quiote fencing (or something like that) at windmills.
